I am Sylbourne Sydial, a presenter, interviewer, community leader, strategist and entrepreneur with a passion for people, ideas and meaningful conversations.
For many years, I have worked across community engagement, politics, public affairs, business, media and youth empowerment—meeting and working with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life.
My media journey is about one thing above all else: creating a platform where people can be heard.

Through The Sylbourne Sydial Show and the podcast I started in 2015, I explore the issues that matter locally, nationally, and internationally.
From politics and current affairs to community issues, business, culture, Jamaica and the Caribbean, social justice and inspirational stories, I create conversations that inform, challenge and inspire.
I ask the questions, challenge assumptions and give guests the opportunity to explain their position.

My Jamaican heritage and experience of life in the UK have shaped my interest in the Jamaican and wider Caribbean diaspora.
Through my programmes and Diaspora Connect, I create opportunities to explore the relationship between Jamaica, the Caribbean and communities across the world.
I believe the diaspora has an important contribution to make through knowledge, culture, investment and community.
